Newfoundland and Labrador Increases the Minimum Wage

Effective October 1, 2015 the Newfoundland and Labrador provincial government has increased the minimum wage by 25 cents to $10.50 per hour.

The minimum overtime wage is $15.75 per hour, also effective October 1, 2015.

Since 2005, the province’s minimum wage has increased 75% from $6.00 per hour to $10.50 per hour.
