Employment Standards in Ontario PosterEffective May 1, 2015, employers in Ontario are required to post the revised Employment Standards Poster (version 6.0)  in the workplace where it will be clearly seen by employees. Every employee covered by the Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA) must receive a copy of the poster from their employer.

Based on the ESA, the Ministry of Labour prepared and published the Employment Standards Poster to assist employers in understanding their obligations and to ensure that employees know their rights.

Earlier versions of the Employment Standers Poster should be removed and replaced with version 6.0. Employers who fail to post version 6.0 after May 1, 2015 will be in violation of the ESA.
