Canadian HR Reporter’s Canada’s Employment Lawyers Directory 2010
Canada’s Employment Lawyers Directory lists the top employment and immigration lawyers from across the country, organized by region. Published by Canadian HR Reporter (Carswell) it is a guide for HR professionals and employers looking for leading employment law and immigration law practitioners.
The lawyers were selected according to two criteria. They were either identified by their peers as the most frequently recommended employment lawyers in the most recent survey by leading legal publication Lexpert, or they were selected in recognition of their contribution to employment law and HR publications. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our colleagues that have been recognized.
Congratulations to our very own Ron Minken who has made the list once again this year. Ron heads Minken Employment Lawyers, an employment law boutique located in Markham. Since he began practising law in 1990, Ron has been advising businesses, individuals and legal counsel on a wide range of employment law issues such as wrongful and constructive dismissal, analysis of severance packages and employment contracts, corporate policies, human rights applications and investigations. Ron is responsible for a quarterly column entitled Employment Law Issues in Magazine for Business, frequently contributes to Canadian Employment Law Today, Canadian HR Reporter, the Canadian Employer, Law Times, Ask an Expert, and participates as a guest speaker at professional development seminars including the Osgoode Professional Development CLE, Human Resource Professional Association, Ontario Bar Association and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Minken Employment Lawyers have been recognized in Canadian HR Reporter’s Employment Lawyers Directory since 2008 (2009, 2008).
