The event focused on clarifying provisions of the Act as well as collecting feedback to help frame the conversation around this legislation.

Kyle Burgis, Lawyer at Minken Employment Lawyers and Karl Baldauf, Vice-President Government Relations and Policy, Ontario Chamber of Commerce led the forum for the Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade across York Region about the impact that Bill 148 will have on businesses in Ontario. Businesses are increasingly questioning why this legislation is moving forward given its expected economic impact.
