As part of its commitment to families and to help reduce poverty, the New Brunswick provincial government will increase the minimum wage to $10.30 per hour by the end of 2014.

The 30-cent increase will be the first increase to New Brunswick’s minimum wage since April 2012.

New Brunswick plans to eventually increase the minimum wage to $11 per hour by 2017 and thereafter by the rate of inflation.
