An advisory panel has been appointed by the Ontario government to examine how the province currently sets the minimum wage and provide guidance and recommendations for how future changes to the minimum wage should be determined.

By addressing the province’s minimum wage, the Ontario government intends to build a stronger and more prosperous economy while helping those who are most vulnerable.

The panel is diverse and includes business, worker, labour and youth representatives. The Chair of the panel will report all findings and recommendations directly to the government.
