Minken Employment Lawyers presented award-winning Canadian singer, songwriter and pianist Laila Biali at the TD Markham Jazz Festival on opening night, Wednesday August 15th, 8pm at the Fred Varley Art Gallery.
The Markham Jazz Festival returned for its 21st year and presented diverse and eclectic jazz performers – performers who were not only drawn from the cream of the crop of Canadian jazz artists, but who also come from a wide variety of other countries, including the U.S.A. and Cuba. The Festival’s repertoire spanned from a variety of genres, including traditional, swing, Latin, fusion, world, Dixieland, and contemporary jazz.
