Minken Employment Lawyers was honoured to once again support Mister Transmission’s Charity Golf Event. This year’s tournament raised over $16,000 and the money raised will go towards helping those in the community who need it the most.
Mister Transmission is dedicated to supporting children & youth in the community in 4 core areas: Health, Hardship, Education & Community.
Last year, at the 2022 tournament, $5,000 was donated to the Children’s Breakfast Clubs of Canada, a charity that provides breakfast to students in low income communities. Along with their franchisees, Mister Transmission currently runs a Food Bank program to donate to food banks across Canada to help with the rising costs of groceries. Every September, post secondary students are awarded $1,000 scholarships to help with the cost of their schooling and donations have been made to jack.org, an organization that focuses on youth mental health. Mister Transmission is currently also in the process of facilitating a donation to help families affected by the wildfires in Nova Scotia.
