Minken Employment Lawyers joined together with many dynamic, engaging business women at the Newmarket Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Women in Business Luncheon. This year, the Chamber had partnered with the York Small Business Enterprise Centre, the Women’s Centre of York Region and the Ontario Government.
The event included a morning workshop on social media for business and a presentation on the innovative Enterprising Business Incubator (EBI) Porgram at the Women’s Centre, and great networking opportunities. After lunch, a panel of prominent and successful female entrepreneurs shared their insights and best practices related to growing and running successful businesses, and achieving work-life balance.
No doubt, creative minds were satisfied from gaining great information and tips to assist their own careers.

My husband is eventually going to open his own family lawyer Newmarket firm. He is already talking about how great these conferences are going to be. I think it’s so great for businesses to help one another out.
