While progress has been made, the gender wage gap still exists in Ontario and across Canada. One element of the wage gap relates to gender discrimination in employer pay practices. That’s where pay equity comes in. Ron and Aneesha discussed the Pay Equity Act, outlining its application, requirements, and enforcement process. Case law was also used to provide examples of successful pay equity complaints.
